2011-12 Membership Drive
Hi, Everyone:
I'm attaching a membership form if you are interested in becoming a member of the NBBA. Please note that if you registered at BandBlast 2010 in October, you are already a member in good standing!
What are the benefits of being a member of the NBBA? Membership entities you to:
- 1 vote for individuals aged 18 or older at the AGM or other general meetings of the NBBA
- Affiliate membership in the Canadian Band Association (Access to newsletters, publications, events, education and more)
- Access to NBBA sponsored events
- Discounted registration fee to BandBlast and other NBBA sponsored events.
If you belong to an orchestra, band, ensemble or other group and are interested in taking advantage of the group rate, please bring this forward to your fellow members. A group membership is $25 per person. An individual membership is $40.
We offer $25 per person to students and seniors (aged 65+) as well.
Please do not send cash in the mail.

Jaunary Update
Hi, Folks:
It's been awhile since I've posted. I hope everyone had a great holiday and are ready to go in 2011. The NBBA is in the process of finalizing it's new By-Laws and getting a new community bank account set up. A great thank you goes to Bill Eberts, whose help and advice have been invaluable to us.
BandBlast 2010 was a huge success with over 40 musicians attending. We also held the AGM that weekend and elected a new Board of Directors. It was my pleasure to be elected President for the next 2 years.
BandBlast 2011 will be held in Bathurst and is tentatively scheduled for the October 14 weekend. It should be AWESOME!!! Hope to see you there!
